Tango, as danced in the salons of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a highly social dance used by many Tangueros (dancers of tango) as a way of escaping the harsh realities of every day life. Outside Argentina, dancers of social tango around the world are drawn to it because of the intensive physical connection experienced with another - sharing a heartbeat, an embrace, an intimate space just for two.In tango we get to express our emotions and then let them go as we leave the dance, enriched. Negative emotions morph like butterflies - sharing our own individual colours with another can result in amazing and unique tango moments. Through tango our personalities join and make for one beautiful shared experience – a tango butterfly.

“I always thought I had two left feet. But one class of Tango changed my mind! Learning Tango has given me a new confidence and has changed my life!” — Chris
“I’ve tried many dance styles: salsa, zouk, swing, and blues to name a few.
I love all social dances but have found in tango the purest form of connection I have ever experienced.
It really is in a class of its own and I’m so grateful to have been introduced to tango! I think I’ll be dancing it for life.” — Ann
“I’d been looking for a new hobby, something that could be fun but also keep me fit. Gym memberships never work for me and I find that unless I want to do something, I have difficulty committing to a course. Initially I was unsure about signing up to a full course, but I’m so glad I did! Coming to tango class gives me something fun and exciting to do while exercising at the same time. Tango feeds both my body and my soul - for me, a win-win in every way :-D” — Adriana
